I photograph people as they are in the moment – unposed, unfiltered, candid and spontaneous.

Hi there, my name is Andreas, I’m a photographer and for the past twenty years I’ve documented events with my very candid and personal “first-person’s view” style of documentary photography. My goal at each event I’m covering is to provide a sort of behind-the-scenes glimpse of the day through candid and intimate photographs.

Whether it’s an very private gathering with five guests or a multi-day event with hundreds, my approach is consistent: put people at ease and capture relaxed, story-driven photos and simple, relaxed portraits.

Some images are moments that would have happened regardless of my presence. Others come from fleeting interactions—a look, a laugh, a moment of connection between me and the subject. Both are equally authentic.

As your photographer, its my goal to create timeless, one-of-a-kind photographs that are deeply personal and impossible to replicate. If that’s what your after, let’s talk about your upcoming event.

“From start to finish, Andreas has been super supportive, involved, and fun to work with - our guests loved him!”

– Melissa Younan

A couple is at a celebration, with the woman in a wedding dress and the man in a shirt, standing closely. The woman is holding a drink, and the man is whispering in her ear. Several people are in the background, some holding drinks.

“We had a wonderful experience with Andreas! His pictures were exactly what we had hoped for.”

– Christy McKean

What I’ve learned over the years is that being a photographer isn’t just about having access—it’s about being trusted to know what to do with it. That means being present, but not intrusive. It means paying close attention, to the vibe of the room, the emotions and expressions and the interactions with those near me.

Sometimes it’s more important to know when not take a photograph. Knowing when to step back is just as important as knowing when to press the shutter. Because at the heart of it, this work is about respect and trust.

As a photographer, I’m being brought in for one day, to witness very personal and intimate moments, and I appreciate that not every moment needs to be photographed.

“Andreas knows how to capture emotion. It’s very easy for someone to come and take a bunch of photos but to capture emotion takes a special eye and makes those photos come to life.”
