Hello, my name is Andreas and I am a Toronto based photographer of people.

For over twenty years I’ve been documenting weddings with my candid and intimate first person style of photography, giving my clients a behind-the-scenes insight into their wedding day.

The images I create are honest, in the moment and completely unique to each event I’m photographing, and in a way, are a reflection of my own personality and view of what a wedding is.

I call myself a wedding photographer reluctantly, because I actually see myself simply as a photographer of people, and the images I create aren’t really what are often considered to be “wedding photography”.

These photos I make can also only be made by the access and trust given to me by my clients – something I am grateful of.

My method of photographing an event is the same each time, regardless of the scale of the event or location: put people at ease, establish a sense of trust, and capture candid and relaxed photographs of everyone enjoying themselves.
