A Toronto Documentary Wedding Photographer.

Since 2003 I’ve photographed weddings locally and abroad for couples representing a wide range of cultures and traditions — but I really don’t see myself as a “wedding photographer” in the traditional or expected sense.

My photos challenge the assumptions, routines and manufactured perfection so often associated with the trends in wedding photography. Rather than stage moments, I let curiosity and interest in capturing real moments be my guide — a way of working that’s based on a sort of democratic approach; where no one particular thing or person is considered any more or less important than the next.

By simply observing and documenting the actual experience of that day, I’m able to provide you with a set of original photographs that are completely unique to your event.
