WHY I PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS

I don’t do this work for my own promotion on social media or online approval. This work is made with the intention and hope that will endure and feel as relevant and meaningful to you years from now as they do the day I deliver them to you.

I photograph weddings with an observational approach and a genuine interest in capturing the human experience. Great wedding photography isn’t really about “the wedding” but rather about future nostalgia, and how you’ll react when you look back at them much later in your life together.

This is why I photograph weddings — it’s not about the performance, but about capturing the human experience of this once in a lifetime moment.

My career has spanned design, illustration, advertising and editorial photography, with weddings and private celebrations being the bulk of my work for over twenty years.
