Thank You!
Here are the steps involved in booking me.
Contact me today — you can email, call/text or fill out the inquiry form. Share your wedding date, and as much information as you’d like in the initial message.
I personally respond to all inquiries, so you will hear back from me, and likely by the end of the same day your message is sent. If your date is available, you’ll receive an email to set up a phone call. If your date is not available, I will also let you know, and then delete your personal information.
During our phone call, we’ll chat about your plans and your vision of the day and go over how I’ll document the wedding for you.
To confirm everything, a signed agreement and deposit is paid. Everything is done online including payments.

Without sounding too cliché, my approach is to basically be a guest at your wedding…meaning, I don’t show up with assistants, bags of gear, or make the wedding day about me or about “the photography”.
Honestly, I think the photographs should be about the wedding, not the other way around, so I simply experience the wedding day with you and collect photographs throughout the day that showcase who all was there with you, and what the vibe of the day was like.
With the exception of a few family portraits, and portraits of the two of you, the rest of the day is spent observing and documenting what happened.

Many photographers promote themselves with the number of images that they promise to capture each and every hour, and then deliver a gallery of thousands of files that you then have to go through.
That’s not what photography is about, and there isn’t value in that.
I deliver between 375-425 finished images. This number gives you a far better viewing experience, while also allowing me to curate a sequence of images from each part of the day while still showcasing the story of the wedding.

On the wedding day, you get my full and undivided attention, and after the wedding you’ll receive the set of photographs on a private and shareable website.
On this site, you’ll be able to view, share, download the printable high resolution files, as well as order any prints or make albums.
Along with the digital images, a matching set of 4×6 prints will be mailed to your home so you can enjoy your photographs without a screen.

2004 was my first year of photographing weddings, and prior to this I worked in the advertising and design world as a commercial photographer and digital retoucher.
My background is in design, however photography just took over and since 2004 I’ve shot in excess of 500 weddings locally and abroad.

While it’s true that wedding photography as a genre is very similar and greatly influenced by trends, what makes each wedding photographer unique isn’t their presets or what poses they do — it’s them.
My background in design and expertise in post production and retouching helps me produce the final image I deliver to you.
My interest in documentary photography informs my style and approach to wedding photography, and my life experiences as a husband of 21 years, and father greatly impacts what I see, how I react, and what I photograph.

I hear you on that! I guess the only way to really put you at ease about this is by telling you that my super power if you will, is being able to establish comfort and a sense of trust with people when I’m working.
Being photographed on this emotionally intense day is a LOT to ask of most people, but I can say that once the day comes, you won’t even notice me. That’s part of how I work. I arrive alone, with a couple small cameras, and I become part of the wedding day…I don’t make the wedding day about me or about being photographed.

Anywhere really.
I now live just outside of Toronto, in the town of Fergus. If you aren’t familiar with it, Fergus is just north of Guelph Ontario, and a five minute drive to Elora and The Elora Mill, a very popular wedding venue and boutique Hotel owned by Pearle Hospitality.
Most of the weddings I photograph are within Toronto, across the region including Muskoka, Niagara on the Lake, and even smaller local weddings in my town and in Elora. Before the pandemic, I travelled quite a bit to photograph weddings and have shot several in France, Italy, Greece, Japan, and parts of the US.
I like to say, I can photograph your wedding anywhere a plane flies and car can drive. =)

Yes, I simply don’t show them as those are pretty standard for any photographer.
I show a lot of the candid and sometimes “funny” images of weddings because that’s something I love doing, and what separates me from others.
I have a quick and fairly painless approach to this part of the day, so if you do book me, plan on only spending about 20 minutes of your wedding day on this part.

Being a Toronto wedding photographer, yes, the majority of the weddings I’ve covered have in fact been multi cultural.
I’ve photographed dozens of traditional Jewish, Indian, Chinese, Greek, Italian, Serbian weddings as well as many mixed culture weddings over my career.
It’s actually what I enjoy about this work — being able to witness something new is interesting to me and keeps me on my toes.

One of the great things about being a solo photographer is that I can pick and choose which weddings to photograph, and what that pricing will be.
Please feel free to inquire about your wedding, regardless the guest list - last year I photograph a wedding with five guests, and one with over four hundred.
-
Due to privacy requests, no I’m afraid not.
I do have some galleries that I have been given permission to share on a password protected page, and I will share that with you after inquiring.
-
I do not.

For sure! Even if you’re not ready to inquire about having me shoot your wedding, send me an email with your questions.
