A Destination wedding in Samos greece - Capturing Your Story Under the Aegean Sun next year.

Being a Greek Canadian, any time I get to travel back to Greece to photograph a wedding I jump at the opportunity. I’ve travelled to Athens, Santorini and Samos five times in total over the past eight years.

Not a lot compared to come destination photographers, but I work with a fairly specific type of client, someone who is planning something a little more intimate, and often very private.

This wedding that I’m sharing is from the Private Villas called Marnei Mare on the Island of Samos.

Samos is located “ just across” from Turkey! It’s a beautiful, rustic island, and what I personally really like about it is that it doesn’t feel overly touristy. If you want super soft sandy beaches, I’m afraid you won’t find that here, but if you love hiking, and want the “Greek Vacation Experience” without the massive line ups and tourists filling up the streets, Samos is great.

Now I am located in Toronto Canada, and I am well aware there are hundreds of thousands of photographers that you can choose from…so why me?

Well, first off - I speak English natively, so if that’s an issue, consider that checked off. I know the island well, and work closely with the top wedding planner Elli’s Plan. Unlike other non island based photographers, I have known her personally for five years, and we work together quite well. She’s an American who moved back to Greece years ago - so her English is great as well!

If you’re planning a wedding on the Island of Samos, let’s talk. Depending on the time of year, you may even find that my price is basically just the cost of two flights, hotel and food for my stay there that week.

This wedding was a private event, with about fifty guests from France, Montreal and Lebanon in attendance.

My Signature Collection for destination weddings in Greece includes: full wedding experience photography by Andreas & Renee including a portrait session on the island before the wedding day, rehearsal, welcome party, and full wedding event coverage.

Delivery of your photographs will be presented on a private, sharable website, and a set of hand made fine art prints and a photo book will be shipped to your home anywhere in the world.

This collection is priced between $10k to $20k depending on the time of year, duration of coverage and amount of prints or books I’m making for you.
