Hi there, I’m Andreas. I’m a documentary photographer who photographs weddings, but I’m definitely not a traditional wedding photographer.
I challenge the preconceived idea of perfection in wedding photography and stay clear of the formulaic cookie-cutter template approach, focusing instead on documenting the genuine human experience with an approach that’s candid, unconventional, very much real and in the moment.
My overall approach is to observe and capture what actually happened rather than choreograph anything or force awkward poses, because while I could very take control like that, I’d very much rather that you enjoy your day fully with your guests.
I also don’t have packages — I charge a flat day rate that covers everything.
On the wedding day, I often arrive just before everyone gets ready, and leave later in the night once I feel I’ve photographed all parts of the wedding day story.
