Should I hire a Wedding Planner?

In consults with new couples, I’m often asked for referrals to other vendors, and sometimes am asked what services are an absolute must have for a wedding. Depending on the scale of your event, and what you’re looking to accomplish, there are vendors and services that can make anything happen.

I’ve photographed weddings where there are multiple planners on site, managing every single detail, as well as some where only the bride and groom are the managers of all of the events.

While hiring a full service team may not be within everyones budget, having someone take care of the logistics of the day is certainly worthwhile, and at the very least, that person can be a family member or a friend.

Anything to take away the burden and responsibility of worrying about the small details from you is worthwhile.
