Meet Andreas

You probably have an image in your head of what a wedding photographer is like — always on, directing everything, and making the day about them.

That’s not me. I read the room. Follow the vibe of the people and pay attention to the way everyone is interacting with one another. That’s my approach. It’s very much observational, and only hands on with the right person and only when the situation calls for it.

I’ve been doing this a long time, but I don’t take over. I’m just there with you, to observe and experience the day.

Born and raised in Toronto, I now live in Fergus Ontario, a small town just north of Guelph with my wife, two daughters, and our two dogs.

My photography business started in Toronto, and I continue to I serve couples planning weddings primarily in the Toronto area, as well as popular wedding locations across Southern Ontario such as cottage weddings in Muskoka, the Kawarthas, and vineyard weddings in Niagara on the Lake.

I began photographing weddings back in 2003 when I left a career as a designer and illustrator in the advertising and marketing business. Since then I’ve travelled extensively, and have photographed several hundred weddings – some as small as five guests, and a quite a few large scale productions with hundreds in attendance.

You won’t find me on TikTok or Instagram. I fly under the radar on purpose, and I tend to work with couples who value their privacy as well. Creating work that’s authentic and unique to each couples wedding, their family, and the personalities present is important to me. I don’t want to be that photographer that simply re-creates the latest trendy posed images, but rather I want to be the one that preserves these memories with honesty and heart.

TELL ME ABOUT YOU!
