Toronto and Destination Documentary Wedding Photographer.
Wedding photos showing the genuine moments and undeniable emotions present while steering clear of any sort of fake, overly obvious and easily repeatable.
You’re not cookie-cutter, so make sure your wedding photos aren’t that either.
Be seen…exactly as you are.
“Andreas understood the assignment - plenty of candid “documentary style” shots. That’s all we wanted and he delivered. Highly recommend.”
– Vance + Trina
Hey there, I’m Andreas.
I'm a Toronto and destination documentary wedding photographer who creates beautiful one of a kind photographs for each one of my clients. I love weddings, and really enjoy photographing them.
My motto: moments over perfection. No fake shit. No stupid poses, and no hiding in the bushes to be “unobtrusive”. I want your wedding to be remembered as you planned it, not how I thought you should act or pose.
Couples that hire me basically tell me they want to be left alone during the day. They don’t want to schedule an hour of posed photos in some random park. Instead, they want honest, in-your-face images of their wedding day and the celebration exactly as it happened.
A recent client told me: “Show up, leave me alone, take loads of good fucking photos and leave when you’re done”…and that basically sums up my approach as when documenting a wedding.
During my 20 years of doing this work, I’ve shot weddings as small and intimate as five guests, and some with eight hundred or more. I’ve worked on weddings with small budgets, and some large enough to pay for an overpriced house in Toronto, and my method of working is the same each time: put people at ease, and capture candid and relaxed photos of everyone having having a great time with you.
Wedding photography doesn’t have to be any more complicated than that…it really doesn’t.
“I booked Andreas as my photographer because of how comfortable and beautiful the women in his photos look”
