By immersing himself in the wedding experience, and committing to capturing moments of authenticity over anything staged or posed, Andreas’ images challenge the preconceived idea of what a wedding photograph is.
Rather than follow a prescribed cookie-cutter approach, Andreas creates photographs that are truly unique to that event and moment in time, made completely organically, without any intrusion or direction.
For the past two decades Andreas has photographed multi-cultural weddings locally in the Toronto area, as well as abroad. His approach allows his clients to enjoy their wedding day without distractions, or any added stress.
While the majority of his work as a photographer has been spent documenting private wedding celebrations, he reluctantly calls himself a “wedding photographer” — mostly because the work he creates doesn’t follow the styles or trends within the wedding industry.
