Andreas is a Canadian documentary wedding photographer who has been photographing private weddings and events locally and abroad for over twenty years, creating unique, one-of-a-kind “in the moment” snapshots of interactions between himself and the people in front of his camera.
He works with private clients crafting a wedding day experience that’s uniquely their own, who prioritize above all else, enjoying their wedding day fully with those closest to them.
His intimate and personal photographs challenge the wedding photography norms and trends, focusing on capturing real unguarded and honest moments over manufactured perfection.
“From the moment your wedding day begins, it should be free to unfold naturally. What I create on your wedding day reflects the traditions, rituals, and cultural details that make the day yours. My approach is simple: I’m there to bear witness, and deliver a set of images that go beyond the template cookie-cutter approach of traditional wedding photography.”

MEET ANDREAS, DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
As a documentary photographer, my focus is on creating one-of-a-kind images that reflect the entirety of your wedding experience.
I approach each wedding as an observer, capturing real, unplanned moments so that years from now, you can relive the day and tell your own stories through my photographs.
I work in a very relaxed, candid, first person’s documentary style, prioritizing observation over fabrication. I don’t chase trends, follow rigid shot lists, or turn your wedding into a big production.
There’s beauty in the imperfect fleeting moments, and that’s where my attention stays.
To make the process of being photographed as relaxed as possible, I choose to work alone. This allows me to be blend in and be part of the wedding day, rather than be the focus or a distraction to you or your guests wedding day experience.
