I’m Andreas, a photographer for nostalgic couples who want to invest in great photos of their day, but don’t really want their wedding to be all about the photography.
They want a visual record of the day, but they don’t want to be overly involved, or for it to be a major distraction to their guests enjoyment of the wedding experience.
This isn’t to say that posed, editorial or fashion inspired wedding photography is wrong - it’s just not for everyone.
And while these photos are often aesthetically pleasing, they can end up feeling less personal because they are so easily replicated (Just scroll through Pinterest or Instagram)
That’s why I photograph weddings with a first-persons point of view approach. To me, this is the best way to photograph a wedding because the resulting images are 100% original and a genuine representation of how your event felt.
I’m a documentary wedding photographer who believes in wedding photography that’s true and genuine, that’s not forced or directed in any way.
I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings, across Toronto, Canada and at European destinations, and what I know to be true is this: Beautiful moments always happen authentically when people are comfortable and able to simply be themselves - however that may be.
