No fuss. No stress. My approach: put people at ease, and capture intimate, candid and relaxed photos of them enjoying your wedding day with you.

It’s a blend of “documentary” - capturing moments as they happen, and some family portraits and portraits of the two of you.

Low key, relaxed, and not about me at all.

All of the photographs on my website were made at weddings where the couple told me the exact same thing.

I’ve been doing this long enough to know how to read the room, and while it’s important to know what to photograph, and when to do it…it’s as important to know when not to be there with the camera and simply let people be in the moment themselves.

95% of my work is black&white, with colour usually reserved for some of the portraits and group photographs, and the environmental and detail images.

I take a very low key approach to things. I work alone for most of the weddings I photograph, and I dress to fit in just like a guest.

Your wedding is not for my portfolio, and when I’m there, I’m taking photographs for you, of you, of your families and your friends. My goal as your photographer is to capture the vibe of the day through my first-person’s view approach to photography.

The portraits of the two of you will be made quickly without much fuss or stress because two people in love often already know how to hold each other and those images look and feel much more realistic and personal.

I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings since my first one back in 2003.

I’m happily married - 20 years now, and together we have three kids (all teenagers now)

I studied design, and worked in advertising before photographing weddings. I’ve also designed, built, and operated a small specialty espresso bar.

Photographing weddings for couples who put a big priority on simply celebrating the day with their friends and family versus those who want to take countless posed photos all day long keeps me interested and inspired in this work that I do. *hint hint

I have dates still available for 2025, and I’m now booking into Fall of 2026.

My photography fee is inclusive of my time at your wedding, post production and processing, and delivery of the completed high-resolution print ready images on a private and secure website that you’ll have access to for one year.
